In what technology are our garden pools produced?

The materials we use have certificates guaranteeing their highest quality and allowing their use worldwide in many industries, including the most rigorous one, which is the food industry. The products we use are 100% safe for humans. They are used to create drinking water tanks, water features, yachts, and airplanes, among others. The secret to the quality of our products lies in gelcoat. The gelcoat layer accounts for nearly 60% of the final product’s quality. Gelcoat, which is modified polyester resin with additives, significantly influences the product’s aesthetics, both at the time of purchase and during its use. The resistance of gelcoat to aging, weathering, aggressive agents, scratches, impacts, and other mechanical damages determines the durability of the product. The even application of gelcoat is only possible thanks to our top-of-the-line specialized machines.

The layer beneath the gelcoat is isophthalic resin applied on a very thin glass mat, providing additional protection against water penetration into the pool. Each of these layers rests on a structural layer with properties superior to metal. It is made of high-quality construction resin, which, combined with the glass mat, delivers outstanding results, making the pool rigid and durable. Meanwhile, the glass can take the form of a mat, woven fabric, or a bundle of sprayed fibers along with resin and hardener onto the product. This is known as the “rowing technology,” in which the German company Wolfangel is an industry leader. We use their machines for manufacturing our products, once again emphasizing our commitment to quality.

Pools from PoolsFACTORY Group are among the most durable fiberglass pools in the world. This is also due to the use of CARBON-ARAMID mats (also known as Carbon-Kevlar). As one of the first on the market, we introduced this technology into the production of our pools. Carbon fibers are even five times stronger than steel, and aramid fibers are used in the production of bulletproof vests. Starpool pools are reinforced with CARBON-ARAMID mats in critical areas, while Exclusive pools are fully covered with them.
